Granite Worktop Installation

Granite is another very hardwearing material that is also really beyond the realm of DIY enthusiasts. We are happy to work on a supply only basis if required, but we would suggest that as we are experts in this field, mistakes potentially at your expense can be eradicated by allowing us to offer you the complete services that we offer.

Like solid surface materials, granite stone is cut and polished off-site, as well as cut outs for sink openings. That ensures we must work to complete accuracy and management to make sure all measurements, openings and the templates are 100% correct.

Often we bring to site with us an additional length of upstand that we can fabricate on site in case any of the allowed for lengths get damaged in transit.

Granite is secured to the kitchen units with silicone, but one main variation is how joints are fitted together. With granite, the joints do not completely vanish, but in a sense, that’s what separates natural stone from manufactured products such as Corian.
