Granite: A Visual Statement in Your Kitchen

Granite can make a wonderful visual statement in your kitchen. Whether it is matt, honed or polished to a gloss finish, it can compliment most planned styles. Granite can in fact stand up to the every day kitchen life. Its natural merits make it water-resistant and stain resistant, and it can endure contact with hot pots and pans.

If you go for granite, plan to spend time selecting the right slab – colours and veining differ a lot. The lesser and smaller the veins, the more robust the finished top will be.

Although granite slabs are naturally one of the most expensive worktops. Medium range pricing in granite can get you a slab with a simple backsplash and sink cut out. On the more costly end, you can get curved radiuses, attractive edge details, and extra cuts and joints in the worktop.
